I am originally from South Africa, where I completed my Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and obtained a TESOL teaching certificate. After several years of legal practice in South Africa, I transitioned into the field of English language education. My teaching journey began in Beijing, where I taught ESL for almost two years, followed by a year of ESL instruction in Jinan. I am now in my second year of teaching at the university level.

Over the course of my career, I have taught a wide range of learners, from young children to adults up to the age of sixty, focusing on both oral and written English. At the university, I have designed and delivered courses in oral communication and academic writing, helping students strengthen their fluency, accuracy, and confidence in English.

I greatly enjoy teaching because it allows me to share knowledge while also learning from my students’ diverse perspectives. I believe effective language instruction empowers students to communicate clearly, think critically, and engage meaningfully in both academic and real-world contexts. My goal is to create an engaging and supportive classroom environment where students can develop skills that will serve them well in their studies, careers, and beyond.

我来自南非，拥有法学学士学位（LLB）和TESOL英语教学证书。在南非从事了数年的法律工作后，我转入英语语言教育领域。我的教学之路始于北京，在那里我教授英语近两年，之后在济南从事了一年的英语教学。目前，我已进入大学英语教学的第二年。

在我的职业生涯中，我教授过不同年龄段的学习者，从三岁的幼儿到六十岁的成年人，教学内容涵盖口语与写作。在大学任教期间，我主要开设口语交流与学术写作课程，帮助学生提升英语的流利度、准确性和自信心。

我热爱教学，因为它不仅让我能够分享知识，同时也让我从学生多元的观点中不断学习。我坚信，有效的语言教学能够帮助学生清晰表达、批判性思考，并在学术与现实生活中积极交流。我的目标是营造一个积极、支持性的课堂环境，使学生能够培养在学习、职业和未来发展中受益终身的语言技能。
